How do i take off soap stains from my shirt after pulling it out of the dryer?

i bought a new shirt and put it on my laundry after pulling it out of the dryer i was frustrated to see spot of soap stains on my shirts. was using tide liquid detergent. i tried washing it again and wont come off.

  1. before u put the clothes in turn on the washer and put the soap in let it fill up alil before u put clothes in. also if u use fabric softner add a lil water to it so it dont leave marks on your clothes

I use liquid detergent, like you, on dark clothes to prevent soap stains.  I don't use any fabric softner in the washer because these, too, can cause stains that look like soap stains.  I used to re-wash such stained clothes in hot water with no detergent at all.  This didn't always work.  Sometimes I pre-scrubbed them with a brush and warm water then washed in plain hot water.  This usually worked but was a real pain in the butt.  I now wash anything that might get "soap" stains in hot water with only about half to 3/4ths of the recommended detergent in a light load - not too many clothes - and a full machine of water.  Good luck.
