How do i take off the parent control on my yahoo groups?

my friend created a yahoo group website n dosent know how 2 get rid of parent control that someone set on it i need help asap cause they need 2 get onto the sight

There is no actual "Parent control" on Yahoo groups.  If your friend set up the group in the Adult category, minors cannot access it.  If that's not the case and if it had any sexual/adult content, Yahoo staff might have moved it to the Adult category.  Adult categorized groups are set to where Yahoo users under the age of 18 cannot access them.  Look at the group's home page on the left side under Info/Group Information and to the right of Category.  If it says "Adult", that's why minors can't access the group.

If the group is in the Adult category and has no sexual content, he/she can plead the case with Yahoo groups staff to change the category.  Use the Yahoo Help form for that: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

Yahoo doesn't have parental controls that I ever seen. what they do have is adult category which prevents under age accounts from accessing. if this is the case, it's adult, yahoo will reset it as long as no adult content is within the group any where. fill out the form, include the groups url and category it should be in
