  1. The way I would do that is just talk about it so it sounds bad but not gory, so something like: "animals get hurt everyday by people who want to try new and bad things, but if you don't want animals getting hurt and not making you can do these things to help..." maybe show them pictures like the "D.A.R.E" except about animal testing and abuse.

I hope I could help good luck!

  2. Tell them strait out. IT'S WRONG! Tell them what happens if they do abuse and get caught. Also tell them about the ASPCA and other groups dedicated to helping abused animals. Show them some not so gory pictures. like an emaciated dog or something.

  3. my son is ten and he watches animal cops with me on animal planet, I don't shy away from horrid things or mask things from my children they need to see how cruel people can be and that it's wrong to abuse an animal.  Showing them pictures will help get the point across, it could be of a dog that is very skinny from being starved to death or a dog with a chain imbedded in his/her neck I don't find that too bad for a child to see.  Explain that we are here to help and protect the animals from harm and if you have a pet treat your pet the way you would expect to be treated.

  4. Teach them :  "do unto others as.................."

  5. kids can't be influenced very easily.you have to make them aware by showing them some animation films or warning them about the threat that their pets are facing due to this animal abuse.

  6. If the kids have a pet they really like, tell them to try to imagine that pet

hurt or upset. Ask them if they would enjoy seeing the animal like that, or if they would feel sad and upset just like their pet.

If they don't have a pet ask them if they would ever hurt their parents or friends.

  7. That's a horrible thing to do! You should be ashamed of yourself... What if they become scarred for life? Or stop eating meat?

  8. They have to learn to feel empathy. Try to put them in the place of a small creatures who is being mistreated, example: 'How would you feel if a very strong and tall boy, say 3 times higher than you, starts to harass and pinch you very hard? Or if the punches you? How would you feel, having no way to scape A small animal feels the same.' They have to exercise their imagination in order to develop empathy towards other beings.

  9. first and foremost ask them to keep distance from stray dogs. do a favor of getting those stray dogs removed from your area. human lifes are precious than those street dogs
