I play second row, and during tournaments when we play 3 or 4 games, i end up scrumming about 50 bazillion times and my ears get scrapes and cuts behind them. Also if the pitch is muddy, the prop and hookers muddy shorts are not fun to be between either.

  1. Just use some prewrap from the med kit, wrap it around your head twice, and then wrap tape around your head 5 or 6 times.

  2. I use foam pre-wrap around my head before putting on the tape. It works. I'm a girl though and have long hair- i havent tried anything else- for fear of having to rip it out. I know some guys use eletrical tape- they say it doesn't pull out hair. Scrum caps work too- if you get one that fits excatly right, if not, then it tends to choke you, especially if you're second row/ lock.

  3. wat on earth-get a feckin scrum cap if you're that kind of player, tapes better, its not very hard just tape ye d**n ears to urs head, watch a match its logical init

  4. ok get a piece of material that if confortable like a bandana etc. and then use athletic tape and tape it around the bandana or wut ever material ur using

  5. Invest in a scrum cap.. Its not worth risking the injury to your ears.

If you want to tape your ears wrap some elictrical or medical tape around your head covering the lobes and the tops.  Make sure you can hit.

  6. nah, u'll surive without it
