  1. Check the p**p...either way sounds like she should be seen by a vet.

  2. No

  3. Most kittens and puppies have worms. You should have them dewormed reguardless when they are around 6weeks old.

Its easy just go to either your local vet or a pet store and you can buy something to clean their system.

If you don't deworm them and it does have worms, you can catch it as well so get that taken care of.

  4. Virtually ALL kittens are born with worms.  Being treated for worms is a standard part of a well-kitten check-up, along with beginning kitten vaccines.  It's very easy - the vet gives her the medicine, and that's it.  The worms die, come out in her p**p, and all is good.  As long as she doesn't get fleas (which transmit worm eggs), she will probably never have worms again.

  5. Ignore the above NO.

Kittens/Pups generally are born or can get worms in their early stages.

Normally when you register at a vet's you will get a starter pack and the jabs in with that, and worming tablets included,

Its always best to get the kitten checked out, they can contract all sorts in their first months and also worms are contagious to others (inc humans) and in some cases can cause blindness. (drastic cases i know but still not all that rare)

    Hope you get it sorted

  6. If your cat has worms. You will see worms. I've seen it before. And until they come out. Leave kitty alone.

  7. You should take a f***s sample to the kittens vet.  He/she will be able to answer your question with the kind of clarity you are seeking.

    All the Best Jae.

  8. Drop off a fecal to your vet.

Worms are microscopic--you won't see them most of the time, until they're adults and swimming out the rear.

  9. go to the vet

  10. Well some worms you can see it in their f***s but some are microscopic, you can often tell if they have worms if they have runny stool

  11. u will when worms start crawling out of her @ss hole

  12. Maybe, I'm not an expert but I do have a dog,all puppies and cats have worms as far as I know. if you're really concerened then you can check her poo. It may sound ridicoulous but if she does have worms you will be able to see them in there. If you're still not sure ask your vet and bring along some poo with you, and if she does have worms, you can give her some de-worming medicine that your vet may reccomend.

  13. You would be able to tell in her p**p. It looks like spagetti noodles.

  14. Take her to the Vet if you're really worried, then they'll give you deworming stuff.

  15. if your cat has worms he or she will have either dirreria or be l*****g hi or her bottom alot and be tender in the tummy

  16. The only way to tell is by taking her to the vet for testing.....and all her shots to keep her healthy.  Just looking at an animal can't tell you if they have worms, well, unless you have xray vision of course :)

While you are there....get her microchipped. :)

  17. its possible , but the way you would know is if she had rice looking stuff around her butt

  18. you see it in their p**p, depending on the worm type

  19. it is possible because my kitten has worms. check her butt to see if any white things come out. Also, there are 3 types of worms. Heartworm, tapeworm, and round worm. Heartworm is very dangerous for the cat because the worms eat the hear. Roundworm and ringworm eat the inside of the cat and is not as deadly but there is still a risk. DEFINITELY go to the vet. You dont want to ignore the situation and find out later that she really did have worms. Go to the vet before it is too late.

  20. Does the cat walk around with a fishing pole?  Most likely has worms.

  21. Yes, she can have worms. You should be able to see them on her backside around the a**s.  She might even develop diarrhea  with having the worms. I would get a de-wormer and give it to her.

  22. You check out the p**p and see if you see worms- or pay a vet to do it.

You can get dewormer pills very cheap at pet stores. The cats have to be past a certain age, I think. You don't need a prescription. Just follow directions and don't do it all the time.

Depending on how old the kitten is, this could be normal - sometimes bellies look bigger on babies or you're feeding it too much or something else is going on.

  23. You will want to take her sample into the vet to be tested, but sometimes you can see the worms in the droppings yourself. In any case, if you think there is something wrong, make sure to take your cat to the veterinarian, especially if she hasn't been already, and bring a sample of her stool along with you in a plastic baggie. Kittens do also tend to bloat on water and food, so if she seems a little rounded, it may not be anything to get concerned about. Just make sure she seems OK and isn't acting oddly, and if it goes away you might not have anything to worry about.

  24. well my cat has worms, we found out because she has hard lumps on her belly and she got fat all of a sudden. does this help?

  25. why dont you just take the kitten to the vet?

i doubt the little girl got worms though....naaah...she's probably just chubby ^_^

    which is cute
