I've applied for them and they have invited me to go to an interview this afternoon. However, I've thought about it and I don't want to work there. How do I tell them this? Serious answers only please. Thanks

  1. Hi

All you need to do Is call up and say you are unable to make the interview at the moment for personal/family reasons and thank them for giving you the opertunity and tell them you apreshite the offer.

They get lots of aplicants and they will not be angry at you.

    Good luck :)

  2. Tell them: "Thank you for your consideration but I have received a more lucrative offer from Taco Bell."

  3. Although this would be a good job, I have decided to take my goals a step higher than the trademark of minimum wage. Thanks though.

Or I really wanted to before but then I saw the movie Super Size Me and lost intrest.

Honestly Just tell them you got a better offer, they wont mind. Happens all the time.

  4. tell them dairy qween hired you earlier!

    GO dq!

  5. Ring them and explain to them you have changed your mind.  Say you got the opportunity to work somewhere else. Apologise and thank them for the opportunity.

  6. Just don't go, or go in, ask for a quarter pounder with cheese and hold the job!

  7. The best way to get fired from Macas is to buy real meat and use it for the patties.

But I got fired from McDonalds because another guy and I were shooting eachother with sauce guns. It was a fun end.

But considering you want a sensible way and it's only a job interview, you can just not show up. They wont mind, just make sure you do what you want to do.

  8. I would definitely phone the manager and tell them politely that another opportunity has come your way, but you appreciate his/her time.

Never close a door completely, you might have to come back some day.  Whenever I changed jobs, I always left a good impression.

Never be impolite when an interview is offered, but do offer some respect for the person who was to interview.

Just being a jerk is not necessary.

  9. "um yer i found another job so..........yer bye!" (turn around and walk out quickly before they can answer and dont forget to say it quickly and dont go back for a few days )

  10. A simple, "Thank you, but I've accepted another offer. I appreciate the chance to meet with you" will work just fine. Be polite. They don't have to know that you don't want to work for them, but at the same time do NOT burn bridges. You never know when you might need an "in" with McDonald's.

EDIT: Some of these other smarmy answers are indicative of what a privileged culture we've become. Woe be unto someone who actually has to work for a living. Spoiled children!
