How do i tell my boss i want to leave?

I work partime and i hate it! I'm only 16 , and im doing exams , so i think that should be my excuse, How do i go about it?

  1. Just be honest, trust me, he has heard it all before.


  2. When i had to quit my job i told them nicelly. Explain that you really enjoy workign there, but now you need to concentrate more on your studies, they might try to mke excuses like well, you can do both, but tell them that this is what you feel like doing.

    Dont be rude, be confident,eye contact, look sad and if you can try to avoid that place for a few weeks do so....

    Also if its at a place were they have chocolates and comethign like that they might give you somethign, i did!!

  3. Write your boss a letter and date it stating your situation and you need additional time to study to keep up with your grades and that you are giving him a 30 day notice to find a replacement.Make a copy for yourself and keep it for your record.MAke sure you get your final pay..
