Question:

How do i tell my gymnastic coaches i have my period when they ask whats wrong?

my coaches are very nice but a few of them are guys. my friends and i dont really know how to tell them whats wrong (we get pretty bad cramps) and they can usually tell that something is going on we train at least 3 days a week every week so theres no getting around the issue. any suggestions would be helpful thankz

  1. They are older boys they will know if you just say it. There is nothing oyu should be embarrassed about.  


  2. Two options:

    1) Tell your coach directly.

    2) Tell your coach off and give him attitude and, if he has ever had a girlfriend before, he will immediately know what's up.

  3. just tell them its a medical issue...

  4. Just be honest with them. Guys understand that us ladies go through that every month. Maybe they could have something that wouldn't be so rough on you during that time to do. Just tell them you guys have bad cramps and need to either sit out until they ease up or do something else. I just came out and told my P.E. coach that I was surfing the crimson wave and he just laughed and let me sit out lol.

  5. Say you are having "woman problems" and if you could please be excused and they will immediately understand.

  6. "can i speak to you in hallway??" " i have my period at the moment so i really am not feeling like doing any gym activities"

  7. just say you are having bad cramps. Or be blunt and say that you are on your period. or say " its a feminine issue".
