How do i tell my mom i am pregnant?i figured if i told her she wouldn't be as disappointed.as just hearing!

I am a teenager,and still living under her roof.I know she is going to be mad because i havent finished school,but i don't know how i should tell her.i don't wont her to find out the hard way.any suggestions?

Just sit her down and tell her, she would be so disappointed if she found out from somebody else. I was 15 when I got pregnant with my first child, and after I'd told my mum and she had got over the shock, she was really supportive. I couldnt have done it without her

You sould get her like a necklace that says grandmother or something nd write her a nice letter or even have a talk with her.

As the mother of a teen, I know  the last thing your mom wants is a stupid grandma necklace.  Just tell her straighout.  if you have an Aunt or best friend that can be there with you, that might help.  But don't write her a letter or buy her a present.  Sorry but she won't be happy to hear this... you already know that.  And silly gift isn't going to help.

Also...be willing to at least LISTEN to what your mother has to say.  you don't have to agree w/ her...but LISTEN to her.  She's probably a lot wiser than you give her credit for. Good luck.

WELL HUN THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL HER THAT ISN'T GOING TO BE UPSETTING ONLY BECAUSE YOU ARE HER BABY AND NO MOM WANTS THEIR BABY TO HAVE ONE.  I HAD TO TELL MY PARENTS THAT I WAS PREGNANT AT 16 AND I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO TELL THEM SO I DID SOMETHING THAT WOULD GIVE THEM TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE WE TALKED GRANTED NOW THAT IM 21 I WOULD HAVE JUST TOLD THEM OUT LOAD BUT I WROTE MY MOM A LETTER TELLING HER EVEN THOUGH IM HER LITTLE GIRL I MADE AN ADULT DECISION AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AND JUST EXPLAINED IT TO HER.  MY DAD ON THE OTHER HAND WAS HARD FOR ME. IM A DADDY'S GIRL THROUGH AND THROUGH SO I DID WHAT MY MOM DID TO MY GRANDFATHER I PLAYED PAPA DONT PREACH BY MADONNA YES ITS STUPID PEOPLE I KNOW BUT THIS IS WHAT I DID I WAS 16 I DO NOT HAVE ANY KIDS MY PREGNANCY LED TO A MISSCARIAGE AT 4 MONTHS I HOPE THAT DOS NT HAPPEN TO ANYONE BUT JUST BE HONEST WITH HER LAY DOWN AND THINK ABOUT WHATS IN YOUR HEART ITS THE ONLY WAY TO TELL HER.  EVEN THOUGH SHE MAY BE DISSAPOINTED WITH YOU AT FIRST ALL PARENTS WARM UP TO THE IDEA THAT THEY WILL BE GRANDPARENTS MINE DID AND THEY AREN'T THE EASIEST PARENTS TO GET ALONG WITH GOOD LUCK HUNNY IT WILL BE OK I PROMISE JUST DO WHATS RIGHT FOR YOU

I would take a picture of the ultrasound and write her a nice letter... Telling her exactly how you feel.  Get it all out of paper.... Then attach the copy of the U/S to see her future grandbaby....

If you don't have an u/s pic - then get her a necklace or something that say's "Grandmom" on it... Touching :)

Just tell her.

She will be mad at first, but only because you're so young. She will eventually get used to the fact that you are pregnant and you need her help.

Just sit down with her and calmly tell her.

Don't freak out and automatically think that she hates you when her reaction is dissapointment. It will pass. :]

Well she is gunna find out eventually, so sit your mom down and tell her the truth. Its better to spit it out now then have to get yelled at because you DIDN'T tell her. Think Juno. You know your baby has fingernails!

You just have to sit down and tell her.  Tell her you are sorry, but you want to take full responsibility.  Remember...your mom raised her babies, so you need to assure her that you are willing to do it all.  I would definately finish school, and go to college, you have to provide a life for your child.  I am sure she will be upset at first but, she will learn to deal with it, that's what mothers do.

SOUNDS LIKE TO ME THAT YOU NEED TO SIT YOUR MOM DOWN AND JUST TELL HER. SHE MIGHT BE MAD FOR A WHILE, BUT YOU ARE HER CHILD AND SHE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS. JUST TELL HER!!!
