  1. just tell her, she'll completely understand, it happens to everyone. She'll probably try to help you out a little and will probably be more understanding than you think. It's normal to be embarassed tho.

  2. Just say that you have some 'women problems' if you are embarrased. Tell her things have started happening to your body and she will hopefully know what you mean without you having to come out and say it.

Don't be embarrased or ashamed, mum's expect this to happen, and are usually very happy for you and very helpful. I got a day off school and a bar of chocolate off my mum when I got my first period!

  3. Don't stress so much! It's completely normal!

When I got my period, I was embarrassed a bit but I just told my mom I had something to tell her and i told her. Simple. Don't be scared.

    Good luck! [:

  4. every girl goes through it theres nothing to be embrassed of

  5. "Hey mom, I got my period yesterday"

Easy! lol It's not hard. She's got it too so she understands!

  6. Tell her you need her to buy you some pads or tampons...it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

  7. My daughter didn't tell me either, but I noticed it when I did her laundry.  She was very embarassed about it, but I told her it's nothing to worry about.  Everyone has felt that way too.  She still isn't comfortable with it, but as her mom, I'm fine knowing what's going on.  Just say "Uh, mom.....I started"  She'll know what you mean because of your age.

  8. Just tell her. I bet it'll be embarassing, but she knows all about it. My younger sister started hers the day before her 12th birthday...she just walked up to my mom and said, "Mom, I'm bleeding.....down there."

Your mom will be understanding and able to answer all your questions. She went through the same thing....and it might be a little weird, but moms actually look forward to this day for their daughters.

Besides, it's not as bad when I had to tell my mom I had hemmroids. GOD!! I'D RATHER BLEED EVERY DAY UNTIL I'M OLD THAN TO HAVE THAT CONVERSATION WITH HER AGAIN!!!

  9. Just find her at a time when she's alone and just blurt it out.  She may ask some embarrassing questions or something, but it's really not as big of a deal as you'd think.

  10. i really dont know HOW you can tell your mom, cause i started mine when i was 11 and my mom was in the room when it happened but...maybe you can just tell her you have to talk to her and then you can tell her...just try that,it might work with out her getting shocked,i mean, when i told my mom(cause i didnt tell her like 2 days later after i got mine)she didnt get mad or anything

  11. First off, don't be embarassed your mom and everyother women on the planet has had a period at one time or another. Just talk to her, she will probably be pretty excited (as wierd as that sounds)

  12. well i started when i was11 and i told my older sister she called my mom and told her for me so she got me pads and tampons...just comfront her there is no shame to this every young girl goes threw this.dont be embarrassed its natural.

well good luck and god bless

  13. Well what I'd do is have a sit-down chat with her and simply tell her that you got your period. I know it will feel embarrassing  at first but I know you will feel better after telling her. Congrats btw!!

  14. just say it just like you did here! best to tell her now so she can get you some feminine products right away

  15. Just tell her, it is nothing to be ashamed of.  It just shows that you are growing up.

  16. Sooner or later she will catch you, and the anguish will be added to that you didn't tell her right away.  Get tough, you will need that to bear what awaits you as a woman. Tell Mom right away, picking the moment, of course. Most of what awaits you, you will be stuck with enduring basically flying solo, so go into it all prepared to do exactly that, but cherishing whatever sharing is granted you by fate. Good Luck. Regards, Larry.
