  1. well, you can start by telling her you are responsible enough, and that you feel that you are old enough to start using light makeup.  Tell you mom when you think that she is in a good mood, not a bad one!  Trust me I know.  Tell her that most people at you school have started to wear makeup, and you feel like your ready to wear makeup too!  hope that helps!

  2. Just tell her.  When I wanted to start, I just told her and she said it'd be fine. So go for it!

  3. when i wanted to start wearing makeup i just asked for it at the stores.when i saw a nice lipgloss i wanted,i went ahead and said, mom i think i'm old enough for at least this! and then my mom bought it for me,try.i'm also 13 but my parents don't let me wear eye liner or mascara,so i wear gloss, eye shadow and blush (don't whine and act responsible,it makes them realize that you actually CAN have it)

  4. I would just tell her. I started wearing makeup when I was about 13 or 14, so that isn't too young. Just say "Hey mom, could I try a bit of ______?" Name something in her makeup bag. Or, try the whole "Mom! Let's have a girl day! Makeup and all!!!" thing I do with my mom. If she let's you, don't push it and wear a lot of makeup. You're still her little girl, and you just became a teen, so try to live up your childhood as much as possible!!

  5. Just sit down with your mom and ask.For a deal breaker tell her you will buy the makeup. And also bring up dance. Also if she says no let it go and ask again a little while later in the year.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Just tell her

  7. well I'm 14 and started wearing make up at 12..not heavy though just lip gloss and mascara..my mum was the one who actually told me to wear make up (but i live with my nana..she is the one in charge) what i did was buy some make up first...say to your mum...mum ive been thinking i think it might look nicer if i tried  bit of mascara to make my eyes look nicer...then say would that be ok? if she says no...say alot of people my age have started to wear mascara and eyeliner and i think it looks really nice..and i would like to start using it too... if she says no again..leave it for a little while..or just only put a bit on and see if she notices...or say how about if i put some on and you can tell me if it suites me or not...then leave it a little while and ask again

if she says yes ty and keep her involved by asking her what looks best so she doesn't feel shes losing you or whatever..it will keep her happy!

    hope that helped

  8. im thirteen to and never had the desire to wear makeup before but now i asked my step mom and shes like you dont need makeup i said ya but i want to wear it all my friends do but ya she didnt answerafter that so we weil see

i would just ask nd see what she says and just says all your freinds wwear it

  9. just say mommma, im mature and i would look good

  10. Ask her to teach you how to use make up correctly and responsibly.  Showing maturity is key and asking her for help involves her.

  11. Why do you have to tell her? I've been wearing makeup since i was 3 years old! because i would get them free in magazines and some for christmas and birthdays.. don't get me wrong i understand i was to young but i'm not a hard family, i'm a perfection family... i'm 15 btw the reason i say about my family is because people usually think i'm from a rouf family.

If you HAVE to tell her just hint or say mum can i borrow your makeup just to try it on.. once you have done that... do it the next day and soo on until she buys you some lol x

  12. Hmmmm, well to be honest, I think your still a little young at 13.

    But you probably won't listen to me... so the best advice I can give is to just say to your mom. Shes been through exactly what your going through- in fact, shes probably thinking to herself about when you'll   start wearing it. Pick a good time, maybe some night you two are alone in the house, and say;

"Mum, what would you think of me starting to wear a little bit of make up?"

If she gets upset about it, then don't argue with her- that'll make the situation worse. But if you ask her nicely, she probably won't.

    Good Luck.

  13. my mom never allowed me to wear make up, but then i just started light and then went to full face alonmg the course of a few years. just say you and your friends just bought new makeup and wanted to try it out and then  wear it to school. your mom will get used to the "new you" mine doesnt even know me without makeup anymore lol
