Well, everytime my parents go on holiday i get people in for a few drinks, in May someone stole my brothers phone, i just left it. On sunday, someone stole £90 from me and my Dad's phone. I got the police involved they said they couldn't do anything but they went to the guys house and his ex girlfriend said he doesn't live there as he was thrown out. How do i tell them all that happened? They're gonna be mad because it's the 2nd time.

Don't say well you shouldn't have people in your house, i just wanna know how to tell them...

  1. Tell them the truth.  Just be straight forward and admit that it was a bad choice.  And then, offer to pay back for the phone & the £90.  Yes, be a responsible person & make the offer.

If I were your Dad, I would want an assurance [promise] that you will not be inviting strangers into the house any more.

And no, I won;t say you shouldn't have.  That is in the past.  Instead, this should be handled pro-actively.   That is, make restitution & plans not to have it happen again.

    Be well.

  2. just tell them that you had some friends over and some...items were stolen and then if they get mad, just tell them its not your fault people are a******s

  3. Well you shouldn't have people in your house. =D.

If you have money, maybe you could buy him a new phone and say somebody stole his SimCard and his MicroSD (if he has one).

The £90....? I'm not sure what to do. At least they never stole any more than £90. Some people get ££££s stole from them.
