How do i tell my parents that my new guy smokes and has tattoos?

i try to not keep secrets from my parents

and the guy i am currently dating smokes and has tattoos

i don't want them to have to find out by one day smelling smoke on me and they freak out thinking i'm the one smoking and then freak out just as equally when they find out that he does

and if he ever takes even lifts his shirt a little bit around my parents you could see one of his many tattoos (all of which have a purpose and meaning to him)

i have been dating him for a little less than a month

and he just meet my mom for the first time tonight (my dads out of town)

i didn't tell them yet want them to judge him before they met him

because i know i labeled him as a bad boy before i gave him a chance

but he proved me wrong

he's definantly a gentleman who's worth my time lol

but now that they have meet should i tell them

and how would i tell them

or

should i just let it go and in time they will find out and just take it as it goes

it all depends on what kind of parents you have. they might understand, they might not. it also depends on what kind of tattoos he has. idk, i guess you should let it go, cuz when your parent find out, just tell them you thought it wasnt that big of a deal and that he means alot to you
