  1. Wear a T shirt with 'I am not allowed to talk'.

  2. You have two options:  "My name is Olivia.  Please call me Olivia.  Can I help you?"  Every time he says 'precious', tell him your name.  You can even say, "If anyone hears you calling me a nickname, *I'll* get in trouble for being unprofessional.  Please call me Olivia."

The second option, since this qualifies as harassment, is for you to ask your supervisor how he/she would handle it if she were in your shoes.  They can't ignore sexual harassment, and now you're getting them to tell you what policy is, so you can't possibly be in the wrong when you correct this guy.  Or they may offer to do it for you--it may come across better from an older person or a supervisor.  If your supervisor tells you it's not harassment, then tell them that no one calls the guys in the store "precious" and it's better to keep a professional distance---this is too personal and ICKY.  Good luck :-)

  3. Ecu's me Sir, could you maybe stop calling me precious I know you mean it nicely but it makes me feel uncomfortably.

Or try to keep a distance from him using body language.

  4. I would call him Gollum next time he calls you Precious

  5. Try to be strictly business with him then maybe sooner or later he will get the message and leave you alone.

    Thanks for asking.

  6. well, if i were you i would ignore him and if he still continues to pursuit you then you need to go to your line manager etc.... if you can't go to them go to someone higher!
