so me and my friend said wed go over to l.a in america.when we finished our leaving cert.well both be 18 and a half.and we were going to go for 4 weeks. we are both 14 now.and i forgot that the legal age to drink over there is 21 and where i am its 18. so I'm a new 18 year old and after finishing my leaving cert id want to celebrate it.in a place where i can drink.as i am able to drink were i am from(ireland)

so what will i do how will i tell her that i don't want to go to america and that i want to go somewhere where it is legal to drink?

You have a long time to think about this one, but believe me, teenagers here in America do drink. We just do it in the privacy of our own homes, at  parties, and other private places. Normally, we get an adult to get it for us, but some stores will actually sell it to minors illegally &quot;not knowing the difference&quot;. (I know a store that will sell me beer, vodka, cigarettes, etcetera- no drugs, though.. but it&#039;s not like I want that c**p). Anyway.. but um, there are other places, like Cancun in Mexico that you can drink legally at 18. That&#039;s where most of our Seniors go for their Senior trip after they graduate from high school.
