How do i tell the difference between a complete sentence and a compound sentence?

    in compound it have two complete sentence it have two subject and two predicate that is used by clauses and sometimes always used by at or and


  2. A complete sentence must have a complete subject and a complete predicate.  An incomplete sentence:  walked to school

    A complete sentence:  Fred walked to school.

    Another complete sentence:  He asked Judy to the dance.

    A compound sentence is two compoete sentences joined into one sentence.

    Example:  Fred walked to school, then he asked Judy to the dance.
