  1. Snails are Hermaphrodites, well, land snails are.

  2. Snails are hermaphroditic, which means they have boy and girl... ahem... parts.  Which means that all you need for breeding is 2-3 snails and some luck... My clown loaches never let mine live long enough to breed... and then I learned that that was where they were going...

The tiny snails, which are called pond snails, breed faster than rabbits, but the apple snails I've never had breed.

  3. Actually, most snails are hermaphrodites. No joke. 0.o

  4. There is no way to tell the s*x of a snail. They are able to reproduce by themselves. Still waiting for mine to have babies it must not have been able to meet another snail before buying it, I'm curious to see my Clown Loaches eat the small ones, I may end up having to buy some.

  5. if you have apple or mystery snails they ARE NOT hermaphrodites

it also says (copied from applesnail.net)

Despite the shape difference, it often easier to determine the s*x by looking inside the mantle cavity to spot the penial complex or the absence thereof in case of a female snail. To do this one should take the snail out of the water and keep it upside down for a minute or 10 and blow some fresh air over the snails body. The animal will (hopefully) stretch its foot out to turn the shell upright

  6. I don't know if you can...If ur tryin to breed just put a bunch togeher!

  7. Boys have ****** and girls have ***** lol

Only a joke actualy  snails are hermaphrodites! really!
