How do i tell the difference between male golden dojo loaches and female golden dojo loaches?

i want to breed my golden dojo loach

i dont know if its male of female

its fin on its back usually sticks out tall and long

Males are bigger but, to absolutely find out for sure you'll have to cut them open. I would get a few more if you have a tank big enough.

Sexing a Weather Loach is rather easy, the male's pectoral fins are longer and thicker, giving the fins a triangular shape. Females have rounder pectoral fins. Males often appear to be standing up on their pectoral fins while resting on the bottom of the tank.
