How do i thank the judge for being fair to me?

after being sentenced and completing my probation, how do i thank the judge for being so fair to me?

Write a letter.  Simply state your appreciation for what you consider a fair and just sentence.  Let him know that you have completed your probation and that your life is better for it.

Write a very nice and well through through letter, but the ultimate thank you to the Judge would be to stay out of trouble and not go before him/her again.
