  1. The first step in throwing harder is good fundamental mechanics.  Leg strength and push off he mound and follow through are important.  If you have a basically good delivery motion arm strength is helpful but not as critical as grip and proper delivery.  Try holding the ball as you would an egg...i.e. the less friction you put on the ball the faster it will go.  You can then hold it with more friction...keep the same delivery and throw a changeup from the same motion.

Get a piece of surgical tubing 3/8" or thicker and fasten it to a pole;  holding the end do exercises using a throwing motion to strenghthen your shoulder...then holding it at your side stretch it forward as many times a you can to stretch and strengthen your elbow joing the lower arm muscles

  2. Lift weights, practice a lot and follow through on the pitch.

  3. You can strengthen up your legs for more drive off of the mound. For your arm you can do rotator cuff exercises. Search around on the net for some routines for both. They are all over.

  4. Work out your bicep and forarm. also practice different pitches and make sure you let go at the right time to get maximum speed and that will make the ball '' harder'' as you said
