How do i to set up yahoo imap account on cell phone?

Question

Up until the last few weeks I have been able to get email through my sprint mogul cell phone using IMAP(push mail - when i got a new email, it would send me a text message.)

Lately it keeps bringing up a screen asking for user name/password. i make sure it is correct BUT nothing happens. it will EVENTUALLY bring in BUT might not update for a day or two.

I decided to purchase yahoo mail plus. this does work and i can get new emails the way i am used to getting them BUT i CANT access my personal folders. Is there a way i can import my folders to my pop account on my phone OR

Is there a way I can access IMAP on my cell phone so that i can access my other folders. i tried creating a NEW yahoo account using IMAP and using plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com & plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com BUT it never communicates with the server.

I know i can download yahoo go 3 and check my mail BUT i dont want to have to always run that app for NEW email. I have read they have imap access for iphones.

Yahoo doesnt have IMAP, but since you have Yahoo Plus, and idea may be to get a Google account and Forward your email to Google, then set up IMAP thru GOOGLE.  

Google supports IMAP.

You can go to the Yahoo Mobile Front page on mobile web if you have it and access your folders
