I want to tone up a little bit in about 10 or 11 days. I want to make my tummy just a tad smaller, and I also have a little bit of fat on my hips and inner thighs. Does anyone know how to excersize off the weight besides eating different.

  2. 10 or 11 days is a little too quick to expect noticable results.  You can get started to looking good though.  I would focus on squats, lunges, push ups, and crunches.  Also walk everyday, drink plenty of water and eat a lot of fruits and veggies.  Check out my blog on how I lost 10 pounds in a few weeks:  http://buzz.prevention.com/community/bcr...

  3. do you have a gym membership or workouts without equipment?

  4. you need to worry for that. i ha the same experience few days back. you just relax. no need to panic. the hard work within school, and after school will help you straight away.

    all the best

  5. Keeping a food journal really does help.  It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days.  Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer.

Start a weight lifting routine. It will help increase your metabolism and make you feel and look better in so many ways. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Drink plenty of water. You will begin to see changes in your body.
