  1. I'm absolutely sure that the Zafira doesn't have a dipstick - fluid is added & checked via the filler plug on the gearbox casing. It must be done pretty accurately, and is best left to a garage.

  2. dont know that one off hand....but look for a yellow dip stick at the rear of the engine.

  3. First I am assuming you've found the automatic gearbox dip stick in the front left hand side near the battery.

Run the engine up to normal operating temperature.

Park on level ground with the bonnet open.

With the handbrake firmly applied and your foot pressed on the brake to release the gear selector lock move the gear selector back and forward through all the selector positions 2-3 times (not to quickly).

Re-engage park and leave the engine running,  go to the front of the car (be careful everything will be very hot), remove the dip stick and wipe with a non fluffy cloth or paper towel, re-insert and remove to see level.

If you need to add fluid this done via the dip stick tube a small amount at a time rechecking the level so that you do not over fill.

If you still feel unsure about doing this ask your local dealer to check the level.
