How do i train to deliver powerful punches in boxing? I know the technique but i wanna train on my punch.?

I am good with the technique(e.g staying in toes and twisting your hips and toes towards the punching direction). I want to pack some real power inside my punch.How do i do it? Pls answer! thank you!

  1. The old saying is that punchers are born not taught nor trained to punch if that were the case every man that boxes would have enormous strengths, you muscles as you train get stronger increasing your strength but your power seldom improves, there are techniques to help you make the punch better  but good ole mom and dad is where you get the natural physics.


  2. u sed ur gud at twisting your body so than u should use ur full body weight when u turn, try hooks to the body when ur in close, try it in sparring and see.

  3. do some lateral, oblique and back strengthening as well as twist training, you know those machines you sit in and either the bottom part twists or the top part twists. you could do some tricep work as well, but you mainly want to train the motion with resisting force.
