How do i tranfer my recorded movies from my dish dvr into a dvd?

there should be aUSB connection in the back . read your manual from the dvr player. In most cases that needs to be enabled by the dishcompany to do so .that is another 40$ fee for that !Then you can connect a hard drive that is on the outside and transferr the movies from the dvr to it and then to your pc and burn the movies to a dvd

You don't. You can record them on VHS, though.
