How do i transfer movies onto ipod classic without getting rid of my music?

when i try to put a film on my ipod a screen comes up telling me that it will get rid of my music to put the movie on but i still have 70gb left which is loads saying as a film only takes about 2Gb please help me

  1. ok....do this...in your itunes software..in the settings tab,syncing tab, theres a box which says "Disable syncing"...check that box and then drag and drop...let me know if it worked.


  2. When the ipod's connected to the computer it will apear in "my computer." Go to the file that you wanted and "right click." Now clcik "copy."  Once you've done this go to the file which represents your ipod and "right click."  Now click "paste." The file will be on there.

  3. are you sure the ipod is paired to yur computer as it sounds like this is a pairing warning.

    if the ipod is paired try restoring the ipod  then trying to add the music. (this si done with ipod attached and selected under the ipods tab.

    dont worry the computer is the main store of files so you cant lose anything so long as yu have it on the computer!
