How do i transfer my itunes library from one computer to another using a USB Device Cable?

i bought the cord at the apple store and i thought i just have to attach the computers and transfer the files

  1. I don't believe you can do it via USB - unless you are running some type of software that will allow you to.

    The easiest way to do it would be to purchase a Cat 5e Crossover cable.

    (or sometimes called a Ethernet Crossover cable - looks like a giant phone cord) - Just make sure it is a crossover cable, and not a standard ethernet cable. Then you can connect both ends to the computers network cards. Then you can setup windows file sharing, and share the files over your "network".
