How do i transfer old data to a new computer?

1) go to  : start>all programs>accessories>system tools>backup   and follow the instructions to save your files in an external storage drive and then transfer to a new computer

2)go to  : start>all programs>accessories>system tools>Files and setting transfer wizard   and follow the instructions

3)write them in multiple dvds and then save it in ur new computer

4)if ur new computer as well as the old one is desktop based then try removing the hard drive frm the old to the new. are try adding that hard drive as an additional hard drive {not sure whether this works or not}

get an external hard drive plug it in the old one and copy everything into the external hard drive then plug it in your new one and paste everything in  there
