How do i transfer vinyl records to cd?

i have a turntable, but what software do i need? are there any good free downloadable ones?

you can plug a turntable into your mic port and burn it with nero.  or purchase a vinyl to mp3 turntable for about 200$

There is a neat device in SKY MALL magazine (the overpriced airplane one) that does this. They have all types of conversion devices in there for cassetes, records, cd's, MP3s, basically anything to anything...haha
