How do i travel to france with ferry from london?

I would like to travel to france with 10 other people on the ferry to france - who do i book with? how do i get to dover etc? please help.

  1. Why don't you go on the Eurostar as you can get the train from St Pancras?  Otherwise, I guess you will need to take a train to Dover and then catch the ferry from there.  Do a google search for 'ferry crossing, Dover to France' and it should bring up the companies running the service.


  2. one of the company that runs the ferries accross the channel is SeaFrance. It goes between Calais and Dover. The trip lasts 2 hours. so maybe you can try on the SeaFrance website. I took it once when i was younger, now when i have to go to London i take the train. Less than two hours from downtown London to Downtown Paris!

  3. You can catch a train from Charing Cross station that takes you to Dover and thence by ferry to Calais where you can reboard a train that takes you to Paris. The entire trip can be booked at the Charing Cross station ticket office.
