  1. I have always been told to add a little powder under the neck to keep it dry.  wipe  the neck down good and add a little baby powder to the area the rash should go away.

  2. I swear by Sudocrem for any baby rashes on any part of the body

Also look at website below which has some answers

  3. We had this problem with our son when he was 4 months old.  Our doctor told us to use "Hydrozole", which is a fungal cream with a small amount of cortisone in it.  Cleared up within 3 days.

  4. My daughters pediatrician said just keep cleaning it with water and that's about it. My daughter has the little rash too because over her drooling.

  5. brown flour

  6. Sudocrem is magic

  7. I just asked my sons pediatrician about this he said to wash his face with water several times a day.. also just do your best to keep it dry (that will be virtually impossible )do not use soap because it can dry his skin.. its working with my baby so far.. I wouldnt use creams unless it looks very sore because it can dry out his skin and keep clog his pores

  8. hey heres an old remerdy i use on my boys cornflour works a treat every time cheers tegan

  9. Use sudocrem on it, it will stop the dribbling getting on to the skin on her neck and irritating more. it works wonders on any rash and keeps the area moisturised too and takes away any redness and discomfort.

  10. My son was a nonstop dribbler. Would soak bibs like it was going out of fashion and was always getting a rash under his chin and down his chest. It didn't matter what sort of bibs i tried they were all completely hopeless. The problem with bibs is that they are made from mostly a single or double layer of material with nothing stopping the dribble from touching the skin.

My mum came up with this fantastic idea of making her own bibs made from polar fleece and plastic table clothes (i know sounds odd right). She made the bibs double sided and put in a layer of the plastic table cloth with a cotton edging (they were the funkiest designs) and it's just fantastic. My sister and all of our friends love them and now she is in huge demand. With polar nothing soaks in. I treated my sons rash with sudocream and used the bibs after that - it's really amazing.

  11. I usually use a bib. Sometimes I will put some cornstarch power under her neck. Maybe you can put a thin layer of Vaseline under her neck since it is water proof.

  12. my daughter does the same thing, and gets a terrible rash, it looks so sore. i pat her dry with a soft cloth and then apply a barrier cream, i wouldn't recommend talc as it tends to clog and go all gluggy and this seems to make it worse, ( in my experience anyways). also if you are using bibs try and put them under the collar of bubs clothes until the redness goes away, ive found that the bibs rubbing on her neck seems to irritate the rash more. good luck

  13. Wipe under her neck every day with a damp cloth or baby wipe and then dry it. Make sure you get in the folds real good. It could be a yeasty rash or turn that way. If this doesn't do enough, a little baby powder may help prevent the rash. If you keep it clean and dry it should go away on its own.
