i have the :

frequency level at - 100 mhz- (i think thats what its called)

but i dont know what to put the

-bass boost level- (levels are 1-3-5-8-12-16)

or the

input sensitivty --

kenwood amp and subs if that helps any..

  1. Sounds like your amp is going out. Mine's starting to do the same thing when it's hot out because it's getting old and no longer cooling itself so well.

  2. Set the LP x-over around 68-80hz, put bass boost at zero and unless you have a dmm your going to have to set the gain (input sensitivity) by ear.   You will need to start with your gains all the way down and slowly increase them unit you can notice distortion or clipping in the sound.  Once you hear this your going to want to back the gain off a 1/8 or 1/4 of a turn.

  3. You have a bad ground connection from the battery to your amp if this isnt clean and tight you will lose bass and it will turn off and on. Ground connections loosten from vibration this is your problem.
