Question:

How do i turn subtitles on my samsung t.v.??

i have comcast cable if that helps, i have looked through the televisions menus and the cable menus but i can't seem to find anything.

any suggestions?

oh and it is a flat screen i think 26 inch (?) samsung t.v.

  1. Your TV by law must be able to display closed captioning information.

    "Beginning in July 1993, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) required all analog television receivers with screens 13 inches or larger sold or manufactured in the United States to contain built-in decoder circuitry to display closed captioning.     So search through the menus and you will see a way to turn it on.

    Sorry I don't know exactly how but I do know there IS a way to do it.

    Choose your model and then click on the how to guide on the right side  of the page it should tell you how to turn it on.


  2. You might try looking for a menu option called closed-captioning.

    Frequently, the remote control has a CC button to activate closed captioning.
