How do i uninstall antivirus 2009?

Question

i downloaded it and now it tells me that to use it i have to sign up for this thing thats like $60. so, how can i uninstall it?

i already tried the control panel thing and it doesnt show up there...

Do this and it will be gone, you can choose to do this or the more complicated replies that will follow mine, up to you.

Switch off system restore, reboot when asked.

Install SUPERantispyware http://superantispyware.com

Update and do a full scan.

Reboot and you should be clear.

You can then restart System Restore if you like.

Do a full scan with your current anti-malware software. You're going to need to upgrade whatever you have right now anyway as it let you get infected with this Microsoft Windows only malware.

Avast! also have a free suite for home users.
