How do i unlock an ipod with out using itunes?

Question

my cuzin brought her ipod here cuz her computer is broken.

and she locked it.

we have been trying to unlock it but she has NO idea what the code is.

i tried to download itunes but i have vista so i cant even do that.

so anyone know?

how do i unlock it!!!

calm down lol all u have 2 do is press and hold menu and play/pause at same time 4 about 5 secs

Try a different program.

OR

Go to the control panel>folder options>view>hidden files and folders>enable hidden files

Anything is possible, to transfer your songs, enable hidden files then go to "My Computer" and click on your iPod, then select the folder "ipod_control" then click the folder "music" and the three following folders F00, F01, F02 or maybe more contain the songs you need. Just copy the three folders to your C:/ drive.

Highlight/Select All of them and Open them into iTunes, putting them in your library.

You will then if you bought them on iTunes have to enter your iTunes account and password. Otherwise they will not work. If they are from CD's or other mp3 sources they will not require a password.

iTunes is fine with you doing this, and thus has the authorization system.

It is completely legal.

The only other way that you can unlock is if you take it to an electronic store or an ipod store and then ask them to unlock it for you.
