  1. plug it in to the puter

  2. According to the iPod support page, if you connect the iPod to the first computer that you ever synced it with, bring up iTunes (so it can sync), and then disconnect it from the computer it should be unlocked afterwards. Alternately (and hopefully you don't have anything saved on your iPod that you don't have backed up elsewhere), you can hook it up to your computer and Restore Factory Settings on it.

  3. try holding down both the menu button an the centre button for about 10 secs, if nothing happens try the same thing with the centre button an the play button.

  4. you can plug it into the computer. it takes away the screen lock and you can acess your Ipod again.

  5. make a new code or go to the geeks for help

  6. Ok...In my experience, i've had my iPod for a number of years, the first computer i've synced it to is long since gone.

    Here's what you do.

Connect the iPod to your computer via USB. If iTunes opens, ignore it.

If you're running Windows, click start >My-computerr and see what drive letter your ipod has. ie F:\ or E:\...remember that letter. If it is F:\

    do the following:

Again, assuming that the drive letter is 'F'. Click Start > Run and type, without quotes: "F:\ipod_control\device\" and find the file named "_Locked".

Now you have two options. If you want to just unlock it rename the file "_unlocked". If you want to reset it so you can make your own code again, delete the file altogether.

The reason you can't find these folders by using my Computer, is because the files are hidden, you can enable "View hidden files and folders" and go about it that way as well.

NOTE: This will NOT delete any music or videos whatsoever.

    Hope i could help.

  7. simply connect it to iTunes =)
