How do i unprotect the memory card for my phone?

i bought a memory card for my phone and it was working fine and then a month later i tried deleting songs by inserting the card into my computer but it wouldnt let me delete them so i deleted them straight off from the phone and i put the card back into my computer and it said it was protected and it wont let me put songs or pics on my memory card anymore. what do i do?

If you are using a micro in a mini adapter, look at the front of the adapter, there is a switch on the left edge. Push it up.
