at the moment I'm failing art, drama and RE. I desperately need to sort this because i'm applying for a scholarship for 6th form to a school that only accepts really smart kids.

I struggle concentrating on these subjects because they REALLY don't interest me, does anybody have any tips on how to improve?

  1. home study...and reading the following statement:

IF YOU DO c**p AT SCHOOL, YOU WILL FAIL IN LIFE AND HAVE A CRAPPY JOB FOREVER WITH NO MONEY ALWAYS IN PROBLEMS.

    Now get studying!

  2. study

    simple as that

  3. concentrate in class and revise a lot

  4. Hello,

I am sorry to hear that you are not able to make up at school at the moment but I am sure you will be able to do it soon.

The best thing and most important thing which you can do really is to think positively and by this I mean - thinking like ''There is nothing that I can't do. Everything is interesting and even if it's not then I will make it interesting''.

Trust me, it may sound stupid but it does work. Whenever you start any work think - 'it's your first work and it's your last work'. You won't get other chance to improve it/work on it.

Also, as other friends have suggested, try talking to teacher a lot and it will help you in understanding the exact technique of scoring in their examination and also the teacher will able to know you better and you will able to come across the fear from the subject.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Kumar

  5. well u need to your home and class assigments

  6. talk to your teacher.

    or get a Tutor.

or spend extra time on the subject you have trouble with

but its good to know that your assessing your weak areas before hand

people tend to leave to late

work hard and keep motivated, and I'm sure you will surpass your worries and get good grades .

  7. Best tip I can come up with is to have a conversation --- about anything --- with your teachers. They love getting to know you and this will automatically help your grades.

Also, it will kind of open up some opportunities for you to talk about their subjects, which CANNOT hurt your exams.

  8. art..... you  should maybe put on music and it could help u be more creative

drama...... try think outside the box and play with characters or try relate them to different things

RE.......  just take out key words in things and learn them and that should be a basis for you and then work ur way up cause it could get more interesting
