How do i update my sidekick lx?

my friend and I bought the same lx and some guy updated it. Now it takes, plays and videos

Yeah i want to know too . I looked it up online and heres what you do . Btw i am trying this now as we speak .

Step 1. Restart your device

Step 2. Do not sign into any apps or send any data......

Step 3. Watch your G7 for 3 minutes if the white swoosh isnt pulsating fast through the 7 then u need to restart (you can even go to network settings press menu + m if ur bytes recieved start counting fast ur good)

Step 4. Restart your sidekick as many times until your g7 continues to pulsate with white streak FAST

EDIT i just want to tell you it worked yay . It took me like two hours of randomly restarting my phone then i restarted it and left it alone for awhile and i got the update ! Make sure your batterys alive and do it right away ! My phone looks a lil different in graphics also i can now make videos but no youtube ,,how lame is that ? When you update your phone dont touch it when it turns back on after you updated you will get another update do it and your done ! When you are done you will recieve a email about all the new features you recieved .
