How do i update my yahoo 360 page to yahoo 360 9 beta version??

please help me to help my friend - he has and older version of thte 7 version of yahoo 360 page.. needs to update .. cannot find out how to do it anywhere???

Yahoo! 360 is about to become obsolete.  Yahoo! is completely deleting 360 and shifting all existing profiles to an updated Yahoo! Profiles system.

I have never heard of this my friend. I have been here on the 360 site for a long time and I don't know what this is that you are speaking of. If this is a recent update, like say in the last month or so .. would you be so kind as to tell me when you received it?
