How do i upload a picture from from the program gimp onto myspace i saved it on my comp. but cant find it?

Search for the filename in your computer. It should popup with it's location and then save it somewhere accessible that you can upload onto myspace.

when you open gimp, theres a menu to open last image, open again and re-save copy to desktop from drop down menu, default for image files is my documents, you can change  to new folder,

Do a search on the picture's file name and find it. Once you find it, you can upload.
