How do i upload an xcf file?

Question

i just made this picture for my friend for his background for myspace. its an xcf file i have a mac and i use seashore. it only saves it as xcf, if you know how please help!

xcf file is program file, based on gimp, you should be able to "save as" jpg, check help, use export with jpeg options,
