  1. Connect the iPod to the computer you want to use to sync your music through iTunes.

If Windows asks to scan and fix the iPod, say no, or 'continue without scanning'.

iTunes will most likely open and ask if you want to sync the iPod.

Now do not press any of the options. Just leave the question dialog box open, dont close it.

Now open My Computer, and then open the removable storage device, which is your iPod. You might recognize it as your iPod's name.

Now go to Tools (If you are running Windows Vista, press 'ALT' to see the file menu)  > Folder Options > Click on the View tab > and in Advanced Settings, look under Hidden Files and Folders, and click the Show Hidden Files and Folders radio button, then click OK.

If you need help up to this stage, scroll to the bottom of this page and click the link under 'Sources' to view a picture of the step mentioned above.

Now go into iPod_Control folder, Music Folder, and then your music will be in the folders from F00 to whatever F-number folder it goes to.

You want to save these music files to a folder on your computer that you can get to later.

After you are sure that you have all of the music files you want, you can now add those music files to your iTunes library, and now sync your iPod to your computer!

I hoped this helped! Just message me if you still have any trouble =]

  2. you cant. your best bet is to download your music from limewire, that way your music is stored on your harddrive and isnt encrypted in some bullshit folder.

itunes scams you out of your money by not giving you full rights to your music.

if your extremely desperate and too lazy to go and download it elswhere, you could use a program that rips the music from your ipod, or you could do it manually.

    http://www.bootstrapdevelopment.com/show...

you could easily torrent the full version of that software.

  3. You should try a program by Tansee call "IPOD Transfer", http://www.tansee.com/. It runs about $20.00 at the site, but there is also a free trial download there that should serve your purpose. Hope that helps. you can also just google "transfer music from ipod to computer".  that will give you several options.

  4. There is no way considered by iTunes. But there is some other way (except using itunes) you can do, that is a bit harder when you have lots of songs on your iPod; here's how it works:

    1. Go to the Control Panel, select Folder Options, in the View tab select SHOW Hidden Files And Folders, then click OK

    2. enable Disk Usage of your iPod in iTunes options or your ipod options

    3. Go to My Computer and then select your iPod folder, (whatever the name is)

    4. you'll see a HIDDEN folder named: iPod_Control, open it and then open the Music folder.

    5. you'll see some folders named : F00, F01, F02 and so on, these are the folders in which your music files are kept, but with a different name. you can find the songs you want by the name of the Artist or Album title IF you set the folder View on: Details. ( right click, view, details )

    6. copy the file from iPod to your computer

if you have plenty of songs there or songs without an artist and album title, it becomes very tough to find the song you want; but you can remove the songs that you already have on computer from your ipod   to make this easier to do and add them later again; cause then you have less songs to find from.

I hope it will be helpful and that you will not have much trouble finding it among other songs. ;)
