How do i upload photos to the computer using a digital camera?

well.im not so sure how to add photos to my computer,i use to use my usb cord or whatever it is,and it did just fine,then i got a laptop and you can stick the memory card in it and upload the pictures that way,but my laptop isnt working at the moment because i still need to get it fixed,so i tried to upload them on the computer im on using the usb cord,and something usually pops up so i can upload them on here,but since i moved its not doing that anymore..can anyone tell me how to upload the pictures onto my computer?

  1. to upload your digital photos to your computer you just need to stick the memory card on the computer, after that..

    you go to [my computer] there you'll see all the drives.

    all you have to do is choose the drives your memory card is on and when you open that drive you'll find all the pictures in it..

  2. Connect your camera using USB.

    Your folders are probably named differently for the last two.

    Here's what I go.

    My Computer > Removable Disk > DCIM > 101MSDC, all my pictures are there. Copy and paste the pictures you want into a folder on your computer or desktop.  

  3. go to my computer> click on folder button on top> then your camera will show up as external drive> click on that...

    now open my documents go to where you want to put your pictures> then just select the picture in your other window (external drive) and just pick and drop in this window

  4. It really depends on the camera. Some cameras require you to have uploaded software specific to that camera on the computer, some do not. Find out the specific make of the camera and go to the manufacturer's website. Or you can click on "my computer" and see if anything shows up for that port the usb is plugged in to  - or you can look at your control panel for "scanners and cameras"...
