How do i upload video onto the computor?!?

Ok, so i have a video camera and the model is a

canon NTSC ZR45 MC

How do i upload footage i recorded with this camera onto my computer so i can edit it? I know i have to buy stuff to make it work but i just dont know what that is. haha. I'm not camera/ computer savvy so please let me know.!

  1. Firewire is another way of transferring data, like USB.  If your PC hasn't already got one, you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.

    Once everything's connected you can capture and edit the video with Windows Movie Maker (it should already be on your PC).
