How do i upload videos onto my laptop from my digital camera?

I have a Panasonic FS5 Blue Lumix and I have a gateway Laptop so how do i upload the videos that i took from my digital camera onto my laptop? When i upload it all it shows up as a blurry picture....how can i upload it so its as a video?

Ever camera i have ever had to load the videos from my camera was the same way as uploading a picture. Make sure its not uploading as a picture it may be something to do with your camera. I had that problem a couple of times and it was the way my camera was uploading it
