if it is adjustable you may have to unplug the spout connector near the distributor or that diagnostic connector and check emissions label for timing specs connect timing gun pick up clamp to #1 spark plug wire and the red and black leads to the battery loosen distributor hold down bolt point light towards the marks on the harmonic balancer and turn distributor till in specifications then tighten hold down bolt and reinstall spout connector.
