How do i use the watch band link tool i just got...

Question

bought a watch band link remover tool with extra pins, but can't figure out how to use it, as it came with no instructions. It has a handle that acts as a screwdriver, but i can't get it to push the pins out of the link - anybody know what i'm talking about and how to help???
