How do i view pictures that people post in Yahoo groups? - message says jpeg is not attached?

People post a message in a hibiscus chat along with a picture and I am not able to view the photos because it says they are not stored.

they are not stored on the group. to get these you need to be set to individual mail. those on no mail or digest will not be able to have the benefit of attachments

To view the pics, go to your membership with the group. Click on "Edit membership" and change your mail status to "individual e-mail". You'll see the pics, but also get every message sent to the group.

There is one way to avoid that. Go to your own e-mail box, and block the e-mail addresses of the members who post alot on the group, and you do not care to read. Of course, they will not be able to send you a regular e-mail.
