  1. cant really answer ur question.. just want to say goodluck and thank you for doing that.. God will bless you..

  2. You can go to your local home and speak to those in charge and ask if there is anything you would be able to volunteer for. Also contact local church groups they tend to volunteer as well as know whom in your area you can contact!

  3. Just look at your local directory and ring up care homes and nursing homes.  I work in them 6 days a week.  But be careful with some homes - they are only for EMI patients with varying degrees of dementia and Alzheimers, so you will not really be able to 'natter' with them, as they all have short term memory problems, and sometimes they have lost the use of coherent language altogether.  However, that is not to say you shouldn't work with them - it's just that 'client groups' vary enormously.  I think you should try to get as much experience as possible in different places.  You will learn all kinds of extraordinary things.

    Good on you.

  4. try going to the nearest nursing home and ask if you may- if you don't ask, they can't say yes!

  5. Contact your local Volunteer Centre to discuss whats available in your area.

  6. Go to a carehome and ask. They will probably let you talk to a manager or whoever is in charge and they will give you the information you need.
